When creating a decision blueprint, there is a drop-down list to select the starting status. When editing the status of a decision, it would be nice if the label/status of the decision followed the available status when creating the decision. Thus fulfilling the blueprint framework.

I agree with the remarks above. Please consider improving the decision log status management (Workflow)

Yes please. I, as a PM, manage the decision log and would to easily move decisions from In Progress to Decided or even retract decisions. Need a workflow.

It confuses users as this Jira described the expected behavior everybody is expecting while the current behavior is cumbersome.

This is really how it should work. WIll be very confusing for users AND will not have a standardized set of statuses. What is the timing of this request? How long does it look like until implemented?

Is there any progress on this request? It would be good if could have this accomplished as its tedious & an add-up task to edit, and isn't user friendly.

            Ditto the statement above

I'd like to raise attention to this as well. The decisions are nicely templated, but editing the status is a hassle and allowing free input by users is asking for confusion on different status usage.

We are just trying to move (some stuff) from SharePoint to Confluence, so I might not have stumbled across far more annoying issues in Confluence yet. But can someone pls. explain why such a small but annoying issue (that seems so easy to fix) takes more than 3,5 years for nothing to happen?

PS: just to keep things in perspective: so far I like Confluence and the provided templates so much better than anything in SharePoint I had to work with before...
