Description
5.1.3 Confluence standalone on Solaris. JDK 1.7.x
Use "Edit in Office" to open .docx or .xlsx document.
Make changes and attempt to Save.
Generates error message:
"Upload failed Your changes were saved but could not be uploaded because of an error. You may be able to upload this file using the server web page."
and you cannot save your changes.
Have gone back and verified that changes are not saved.
If I roll back to a JDK 1.6.x and run the same procedure the changes Save fine, no error messages, I can go back to the document and the changes are saved.
I have repeated this on 2 different installs.
