Description
Steps to reproduce
- Enter a paragraph of text that finishes in italics
- Hit return.
- Type some more text (you will still be typing in italics)
- Backspace to the start of this second line (the "i" indicator in the toolbar will go off suggesting that italics are disabled)
- Continue typing (text will still be italics even though the toolbar is disabled)
- If the user backspaces their text (because they were not expecting italics for some reason) and presses CMD/CTRL + "i" it will enable italics in the toolbar - which is unexpected because they were just typing in italics
Workaround:
- If the user again backspaces their text and then presses (CMD/CTRL + "i") twice then italics will be disabled, but this is a bit of a long-winded way to get there
- select the italic type and CMD + I it.
