This would be useful for a lightweight editorial process.

As a user, I'd like to be able to co-author a blog entry (e.g. for announcements) without having to publish it or make it publicly available.

This allows for collaboration in blog posts and would make it easier to use the blog. Mind that some people are shy about their writing and ask for peer reviews before publishing a final version.
