I have an evaluation version of Confluence.
When I click on the Comments textbox it says Loading the Editor but it never gets loaded, no error message either (not even a timeout).
This is happening on Confluence 5.01, Safari 6.0.2.

      Thanks!

Update: I just realized this is also happening on Chrome 25.0.1364.152 (latest version). It worked before, but I restarted the Confluence server and it seems it stopped working. The Comments editor loaded on IE8 but after a minute or so.

[CONFSERVER-28372] Comments editor does not load on Safari

billing14 we do not have a patch specifically for 5.4.3 at this point. The "patch" was a temporary measure while we work on the root cause, which is this bug: CONF-27023

            Dear, Atlassian,

Can I have this patch for Confluence 5.2?
            It is happening again.

            Thank you.

The "patch" is just an extension of the timeout. I've no idea at this stage if it'll be included in an official release as it doesn't appear to be widespread. It should function fine on 5.1.3, however it hasn't been tested at this stage.

            Dear, Atlassian,

            Can I use 5.1 patch on 5.1.3?
When can I expect this patch to be included in official release?

            Thank you.

            Lucian Muresan,
You can try this at your own risk.
            But it works on me.
