The Recently Updated Macro's Authors filter should accept groups as well

      A common use case is to group users into teams, and assign a confluence space to that group.

      When trying to list "team status updates" on a confluence page, we see status updates for every developer in the company (30k users). We cannot filter by confluence space because user status is not space-ful. To filter to just the team in question, we're forced to use a cumbersome hand maintained list of users within the group.

      Suggest that groups be accepted in the users list. If a group is listed, any post authored by a member of the group mentioned is passed by the filter.

            Thank you for raising this issue. While I can see how this feature would be useful, we have no plans to implement it in the foreseeable future. In order to set expectations, we're closing this request now.
