Allow "Added by" and "Last edited by" to Show up When Exporting a Page to PDF

    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

Currently if you export pages to PDF, the "Added by" and "last edited by" are hidden. It would be nice if we can allow users to choose whether this information will show up or not.

[CONFSERVER-27410] Allow "Added by" and "Last edited by" to Show up When Exporting a Page to PDF

We don't have any plans to change this in the near future so going to close.

The PDF export is really seen as a 'clean' copy of the page for distributing external or for later printing etc. With this in mind, we really want the PDF export to just be about the content.

We could add an option as you say, but this would add a level of complexity to the interaction that doesn't seem warranted.
