page content hidden when user inserts html macro in comment

      Steps to repro
      1. Enable the HTML macro in Manage Plugins / Add-ons (Confluence Admin)
      2. create a page and enter some content and save page
      3. Insert an HTML macro in a comment
      4. Submit comment

      The content of the HTML macro will hide the content of the page

            Just encounter this bug when attempting to use an html table (copied from another source).

            Given the thousands of other issues we have open that are more highly requested, we won't be able to address this issue in the foreseeable future. Instead we will focus on bugs with a higher impact, and more votes.

            Thanks for taking the time to raise this issue. As you are no doubt aware this issue has been on our backlog for some time now with very little movement.

            I'm going to close this to set expectations so the issue doesn't stay open for years with few updates. If demand for this picks up, we will reopen the issue.

            I can confirm that this is still the case.

            But It only happens to me if I put "<body>Something" in the Macro

            If i put "<b>This will be bold</b>" it works as expected.
