[CONFSERVER-27191] Excerpt macro rendering problems during PDF export

This seems fixed in 5.0 and 5.1, can anyone tell me if it was fixed in an incremental release, or only these versions?

So this remains a non-functioning area in our current environment. Hmmm… Not a great position to be in.

This seems to be fixed in 5.0, however we are trying to stay on 4.3 as there's not a lot of enthusiasm for the UI changes in 5.0.

This issue does not appear in our OnDemand instance (currently on Confluence 5.0-OD-31).

However, it does occur in our downloaded Confluence instance (version 4.3.7). This is a problem us, since we use the excerpt macro frequently in our documentation, which users are likely to export as PDF.

Is there an update on a fix for this?

I'm using Confluence OnDemand. Seeing the same behaviour with info, note, tip and warning macros. This is also blocking our publication.

I generated a PDF on November 5th and this wasn't an issue. I tried to generate a PDF today, November 12, in the same space with the same style sheet and suddenly this occurs every time I generate a PDF.

Something has changed behind the scenes and broken this functionality.

This bug is a blocking issue for publication of a large reference work (~900 pages). I hope it can be fixed quickly. We have also seen Giant-text output from some other macros and pasted text as well. For example: code and pre HTML entities and the Expand Macro. Everything looks fine on Screen, but during Space Export to PDF the font-size formatting is unreliable.
