Allow User Edit Permissions on a Page Without Granting them Add Permission

      Customers would like to be able to have more granular control of page permissions.

      Ideally he would like to be able to allow a user or group of users to be able to edit a page within a space without granting space wide Edit and Add permissions.

            Comment [ A "space" often represents a business function and not a group of people. For example our "compliance" space contains our business policies and procedures, but each set of policies / procedures is owned by the respective subject matter experts.

            Thus compliance wishes to defer edit capabilities to the people who are the experts (engineering edits the SDLC policies, finance edits the purchase policies, etc) but the process of *having* policies falls on compliance. And for training + discoverability purposes it doesn't make sense to ask everyone in the company to bounce around every departments space to find the rules they need to follow (not to mention when policies / procedures crossover departments, i.e. cloud cost management is an intersection of devops + finance).

            Personally I would qualify this as a bug, not a feature request.

             

            Expected behavior: Page level "edit" access lets assigned users / groups edit the page.

            Actual behavior: Page level "edit" access does not let assigned users / groups edit the page. ]
