Umlaut characters are not sorted correctly in the alphabetical view

      When browsing the view at http://confluence/pages/listpages-alphaview.action?key=SPACEKEY, the pages with umlauts in the title are always at the bottom.

      This behaviour contradicts with normal page tree inside the Page Tree macro, sidebar in Documentation Theme and also while browsing the space pages tree at http://confluence/pages/listpages-dirview.action?key=SPACEKEY.

            Hi Hanis

            Thanks for taking the time to raise and comment on this issue. This has been on the backlog now for 2 years with no resolution in that time. Rather than leave this here I'm going close this issue out as won't fix. I believe that this better reflects the status of this issue.

            If the problem is raised again in the future we will re-address this status.
