We have lately switched from Confluence 3.4.9 to Confluence 4.1.7, and have noticed, that the display of user names has changed. In the past, it was prename surname, now it is surname, prename. This is sometimes irritating, and reads not really well when you write something down in a protocol or so.
There should be a configuration where you can state how a user should be displayed.

CONFCLOUD-25139 Support format string for user name in Confluence

Looked today at my own ticket, and was a little bit astonished by the resolution. "Cannot reproduce" does not match for me, "Won't fix" would be a better resolution. This was changed in the past, and we are not able to define the order how the user name is displayed. Sometimes, it is ok (when looking at lists or summaries), but especially with @mention (like @mliebelt) rendered as Liebelt, Markus is not the best one in a text.
So I will ignore that, but perhaps there is a friedly admin that could comment on that ...
