In my case It's still not working, event without any additional parameter string in the url of the document.

I've managed to get it working embedding a Google Docs spreadsheet but it does not accept any parameters. Parameters are needed to configure how the content is displayed, or should be added by default in the configuration. Publish the document to the web, only getting a share link is not enough. Remove any added strings after "pubhtml" in the URL (applicable to spreadsheets).
You should get an URL looking like this:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/<spreadsheet-url>/pubhtml

Just to confirm, this is NOT FIXED.  I've just tried to add a Google Docs spreadsheet on your hosted MyAtlassian confluence service and I just get grey gears icon.

I've fully opened the security on the google doc.

No, it is still not working. Please fix. 

Not working for me either, in Confluence 5.7. We have an open support ticket with Atlassian to see why.

Hi, all the documentation says these are still broken. Please update, my customers keep finding the docs saying it is broken, but I see this issue that says it's fixed.

The Resolution field indicates this is fixed, but the documentation still says it's broken, and refers users here.

I used to be able to add macros to embed and list Google Documents within a Confluence page which was really cool... but this feature has recently stopped working and throws errors. Been going on about 2-3 weeks now since it has been broken. I hope they fix it soon!
