    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

In jira you have only 3 levels to model your project system.
So for our business projects we used:
      jira projects to model programs,
      issues for projects
and sub-tasks for project tasks like business requirements

The ability to create jira sub-tasks in confluence would be very usefull, specially for large projects, since we create requirements documentation in confluence and we could create the requirements fastly in jira as well without leaving confluence.
      Thank you

[CONFSERVER-24570] Ability to create jira sub-tasks in confluence

i'm honestly baffled, that such a basic feature is lacking even without users requesting it. the fact that this is asked for now such a long time ago and basically ignored (or did I miss any feedback from atlassian?) is worrying.

so many integrations that allow you to generate issues from other sources than Jira itself support creating subtasks directly (e.g. even the outlook integration does so). so why is this lacking from one of atalssian's own products? the connection between confluence and Jira seems like such an important part of their ecosystem...

are we missing something? is there maybe a better way to handle the process of creating issues out of confluence?

People: forget it! Atllassian does not give a flying F*** about their customers. This feature has been requested 10 YEARS AGO! It's NOT going to be implemented. It's just a placeholder to pretend they are considerate.
