Summary of The Bug
Confluence 4.0 editor in Firefox shows a bug where on table editing where it deletes whole cells instead of just emptying them.
How to Reproduce
- Create a 4x3 table
- Enter some text in the cells
- Highlight the content of three cells on one row
- Delete
- The highlighted cells are deleted instead of just their contents

Agree with the above - I was so surprised to learn that this basic functionality doesn't exist in Confluence.
Also this issue definitely isn't resolved as that indicates you've actually fixed it which is not the case.
