            @Steve - I believe this issue is fixed in later versions of Confluence. We're running 5.2.5 here and it's working okay.

            Thanks for taking the time to raise and comment on this issue. As you are no doubt aware this has been on our backlog now for quite some time with no progress being made. Rather than leave this here I'm going to close this issue as won't fix. I believe that this better reflects the status of the issue.

            There is no TOC on my page
            I have tried deleting all other objects on the page and still itpersists.
            I have also created a new Page and put nothing but a Task List on it and I cannot add Tasks
            By recollection this did work when our Confluence was initially set up but it stopped working shortly after. I do not know what changes may have been made. Can some debugging/logging be turned on that I could sent you?

            I cannot reproduce the problem when there is only a tasklist. Do you guys have a problem on a particular page or in a particular space that uses non-default theme?

            FWIW I'm seeing the same behavior here on my system: Confluence 4.0, confluence.extra.dynamictasklist2 v4.1.0 under Chrome, Firefox and IE9.
