up and down arrow keys should navigate the cursor to the cell above/below in the table

      Affects Chrome only.

      Currently, up/down keys navigate the cursor to the left/right cell in the table.

      That's weird - Google Spreadsheet navigates correctly, up is up, not left.

            Eagerly awaiting the resolution to this, my company is migrating to Chrome as our default browser and our users will benefit greatly from a fix to this.

            Total agree with this! My organization uses tables a lot, so this minor tweak would go a long way to addressing very fast editing.
