    Description

Minor changes are a bit of an ongoing bugbear. User won't reliably check the Minor Change box. Could the editor actually detect the amount of change on a page and use this to alter the default check of the minor change box? Eg a few characters or some minor formatting changes would trigger a minor change default. If this would coupled with CONF-3707 "Recently updated list on the dashboard should not show minor edits" things would be really nice. A couple of global and/or space flags to control minor change display ("show all changes") and even a metric on what constitutes a minor change would ice the cake.
