Minor change box ticked by default for certain areas

Could the 'Minor change? (no notifications will be sent)' box be able to be set to be ticked by default on certain areas please, i.e. a page then its child pages. This would greatly help avoid minor edits accidentally being emailed to a large group of people if the editing person does not tick this box.
