            Alright thanks Partha.

I'm going to remove my demo links then.

            Hi,

Thanks Joseph. Your public instance helped me found out how to replicate this problem.

This problem ONLY occurs under the following scenario:

            • You choose to create your space with an admin account using "add space" on the dashboard
            • Making your space private (NOT allowing view permission for Anonyomous in Space Admin permissions)
            • You front with Apache using a different virtual host than what you originally installed with
            • I have found this problem is not MAC OS specific.

I also use the documentation theme (though this might not be a factor).

I have created a space and account, "confluencesupport" on my wiki that demonstrates this problem.

I have granted space admin privileges to confluencesupport. So go into Space Admin, grant View permissions to Anonymous. Save the settings and go back and refresh this page. You should find that things work properly. Take away the Anonymous View permissions and things stop working.

            http://www.myra.homeip.net/wiki/display/bonsaiframework/Home
            user: confluencesupport
            pass: 12345

However, if you use my alternative url used originally to set things up,
            http://www.breakitdown.ca/wiki/display/bonsaiframework/Home

            It works in all cases.

I know this is complex so I'll send you my personal cell number if you want to discuss further.

            Hi Tin,

Thanks for reporting this issue. We have quite a large OSX user-base internally at Atlassian and in fact, most of our developers run OSX 10.5. We're not aware of any problems with Confluence thumbnails. Are you able to provide any additional details about your environment? Are you able to reproduce the same problem on one of our public instances? (for example, http://sandbox.onconfluence.com).

            Thanks,
            Joe.

I am not sure of the library used for the Lightbox effect. If Confluence dev can let me know of the library I can visit the library site to run a test or if you want me to test on a different implementation of Confluence I can.

I did find the Lightbox effect to work properly on the Mac OS X 10.5.4 with Firefox at a number of sites with a quick google search,

It might just be a matter of updating the libraries.
