As far as I know, all spaces on a confluence installation are accessible to Confluence Admins no matter the security applied by the owners of the space. Is there a plugin to apply such that the admins can not view the contents of a space if the space owners restrict those spaces as such?

I am using a .war deployed on JBoss.

      Thanks.
      John.

            Hallo John
Thank you for raising this. I've updated the documentation to clarify the position about super-users (members of the confluence-administrators group). Basically, these super-users do have access to the content of all the pages in the Confluence site, regardless of space permissions. (Page restrictions do however limit their access.)

This problem is also discussed in CONF-8551, so I've marked this issue as a duplicate. I've also changed the component from "Documentation" to "Permissions".

            Cheers, Sarah
