We're running Confluence under Tomcat, on RHEL 5.4 (x86_64), java version "1.6.0_13".
NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.
RSS feeds generated with FeedBuilder always include the unrendered page content (that is, the wiki markup), rather than rendering it into HTML. This may be fine for "internal" consumption, but it makes it less useful for a public-facing RSS feed. For example, I don't want our users to see this:
Visit our [support site|http://www.example.org/some/ridiculous/path?with=parameters&other=things].
I want them to see this:
Visit our support site.
And I want them to be able to click on the link.
Because I can see an argument for supporting both models (rendered and unrendered content), I'm proposing that this should be configureable via some sort of checkbox.
