Comments view breaks in IE7 after Confluence 3.0.1 upgrade

      After I upgraded our Confluence to 3.0.1, the Comments view broke in IE7. It shows just fine in IE8 and Firefox 3.5. I imagine it's a CSS problem? I tried to look for similar issues on the Confluence forums, in Jira, and with a Google search. Found nothing similar.

      Edit: Apparently it is the fancybox web resources macro of the Advanced Macros plugin that causes this issue. Disabling this macro fixes the problem so that you can view all comments correctly. However, you lose the functionality of collapsing/expanding a single comment. The gallery plugin also seems to rely on this macro, since thumbnails generated by it don't open a lightbox effect anymore, but instead just link to the image.

      I hope this issue is fixed quickly as the gallery plugin is widely used in our Confluence instance!

            Thank you Raf! This is a fine workaround, as we don't have need for such fancy boxes!

            Edit: Actually we do... Not for comments, but for the gallery plugin. Suddenly the thumbnails don't generate a lightbox effect anymore, but merely a link to the image. It's a pity, since the lightbox effect is both aesthetic and user-friendly.

            I'm having the same problem.
            The problem is caused by 2 modules of the 'Atlassian Advanced Macros' plug-in.

            If you disable those modules:

            • thumbnail image web resources
            • fancybox web resources

            The comments view is ok in IE7.
            Not so much of a solution but better than telling your users to use a different browser, especially if IE7 is you 'corporate approved' one.
