    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

I would like an option for making page changes a two step process.
The first step would be to make the changes to the page, as it is now. When you are done with that you click "Next", and you are then taken to another page which shows a diff of the changes you've made, and allows you to enter a comment for the changes made.

I see some benefits to this:

      1. You can spot any errors you may have made, which can't easily be spotted on the preview tab. Ie. if you get to remove a row from a table when you just meant to edit one field.
      2. It makes it easier to get an overview of what changes you have made to the page, in order to summarize them in the comment.
      3. The extra page should have a "Back" link which would allow you to go back and edit the page again, in case you spot any errors in the changes you've made.

This should probably be made as an option, possibly per user, since it otherwise would change the work flow of existing installations.
