Firefox 3 does not enable the spell checker on the comment text area by default

The documentation implies that it should: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/using+the+spell+checker

Furthermore, when manually setting it, Firefox does not persist the setting for future comments

This was tested with Firefox 3.0.7
