NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

Having more than a dozen spaces, you always have to go to the Dashboard to see the favourites.
In the new (Confluence Vers. 2.9) interface next to the bowse button there should be another drop list showing the top 10 favourites.

This issue may be related to CONF-8852, which is still unresolved.

CONF-18767 describes (being closed because its duplicate) very much in detail what I expect.
Top-10 favorites means the list being displayed on "viewmyfavourites.action".

What is the definition of "top 10 favourites"? The most popular pages that are favourited? This does not necessarily mean they are the most important favourites to the given user. Perhaps something like top-accessed favourites by the user.

            From the linked issue:

I realize that favorites are visible in one's profile, on the dashboard and anywhere via the Favourite Page macro, but from a user experience point of view, those are all too remote and clumsy. Favorites were, I'm assuming, intended to speed intra-site navigation, and having them accessible 2-3 clicks away renders them poorly suited for that purpose.

I'm constantly moving all over our site, from space to space to space (i.e., favorite page to favorite page to favorite page), and navigation using the built in hierarchical mechanism is clumsy at best. I realize that users can just create browser bookmarks of their favorite pages, but our users at not all that savvy (and, in that case, why have Favourites at all?).

A dropdown menu from the (sparsely-populated) navigation bar would provide quick and easy access to even a newb's faves, and would help Confluence Favourites fulfill their full potential.

Just trying to make the case for this feature

I appreciate all you guys do--great product!

I agree. Without making favourites accessible in this manner, they have little value in Confluence.
