Help Tips pane in Wiki Markup edit window should include a reference to create an anchor within the Linking section

    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

At the moment, Help Tips contains the following information regarding linking:

      Linking:
      [title#anchor] » Link a page
[dev:title#anchor] » In space with 'dev'
      [http://host.com] » Remote link
      [phrase@shortcut] » Shortcut
Note: [alias|any_of_above_links] » Custom link title

Two of the above references include reference so an anchor, yet there is no reference to creating an anchor.

We should include a line like this within the Linking section so that people can make references to Anchors work:

{anchor:your_anchor_name} >> Creates an anchor to which you can link to

After addressing that core issue, it might also be nice to include an example to link to an anchor on the same page e.g.

[#your_anchor_name] >> Links to anchor on same page
