If it was be possible to give

macro a parameter like:

that would put grayed line-numbers in the code, on each line, it would be JUST AWESOME.

The "New" code macro was bundled in Confluence 3.5, https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Confluence+3.5+Release+Notes and allows line numbers to be switched on and an initial line number specified.
