A few customers have reported that when Confluence size has grown quite large (eg. entities.xml file is over 200MB), neither daily backup nor manual XML backup produced contain the exportdescriptor.properties file.

Despite this, no error message is logged in the log file.

The backup does not seem to be corrupted, as adding a copy of exportdescriptor.properties file of the same version into the zip folder appears to resolve the problem.

This problem can be replicated in house with large XML backup.
