Migrated Macros are not rendering JQL which produces a single Jira ticket result

XMLWordPrintable

      Issue Summary

Macros migrated from server and which are not rendering, if we try to change the JQL query which produces only one result (like key=ACM-1700) it does not update the macro. But if same macro if changed to have the JQL query which brings multiple results (project like '%%'), it renders the Jira issue table.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Migrated Confluence from DC to Cloud
      2. Run Macro repair script to fix the macro
      3. Review the Jira Macros

      Expected Results

All Jira macros should be fixed by the legacy script

      Actual Results

We saw some Jira macros were not fixed by the script. When we try to fix the macro manually, it displayed result if the DJQL yields multiple tickets as result

But if the JQL yields a single Jira ticket as result - the macro fails to render it

      Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
