Summary

Currently, the Confluence User/Group Access report only includes permissions for spaces where the report generator has view permission. This is by design, but it limits the usefulness of the report for site/product admins who need a comprehensive view.
We request an enhancement to allow site/product admins to generate access reports for all spaces, regardless of their individual space permissions.

Background / Current Behavior

• When generating a user/group access report, only spaces where the report generator has view permission are included.

• Site/product admins without view permission to all spaces cannot see a complete report.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a user or group.

1. Assign the user/group to multiple spaces.

1. As a site/product admin (without view permission to all those spaces), generate the user access report.

Workaround

• Grant view permissions to the report generator for all relevant spaces before generating the report.
