Include Database Backups in Confluence Site Backups

      Problem Definition:

      Currently, Confluence site backups don't include database content. While databases appear in the export tree, they don't retain their content, data, or functionality. This limitation poses challenges for users who rely on integrated databases as part of their Confluence setup, especially when they need to perform full site restorations or migrations.

      Suggested Solution:

      Enhance the Confluence site backup functionality to include full database exports. This would involve capturing the database content along with the site data during the backup process, ensuring that all integrated databases are retained and can be fully restored or migrated as needed.

      Workaround:

      As a temporary workaround, users can manually export their database content as a CSV file and re-import it into a database with the same field specifications. Detailed instructions for exporting and importing database data can be found in the Confluence support documentation:
