      Problem Definition

When moving Jira and Confluence from one cloud instance to another cloud instance ,the new environment has different URLs, which affects the issue link in Jira and page links in Confluence as they rely on page IDs and base URLs which has been defined earlier on the older source environment.

This impacts all migration methods via CSV/XML export/Import or via C2C migration tools

      Suggested Resolution

Confluence/Jira links in destination cloud need to be updated as per the URLs in the destination cloud.

      Temporary Resolution

In this case you contact Atlassian support by logging a request in support.atlassian.com and ask them to apply the workaround for this issue. As this is a time-consuming and manual task, we execute the link-fixing procedure exclusively after Production migrations, during business hours in your support region.

Some of the links can be fixed as per the boundaries detailed at After a successful server to cloud migration URL links are broken in the new cloud instance (article is applicable to server to cloud and cloud to cloud/copy product data migration).
