Issue Summary
Jira text multi-line custom fields, which contain links, display them plain text instead of a clickable URL in Jira Issues macro.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a custom field in Jira with the type 'Text Field (multi-line)'
- Add the field to a Jira ticket and add a URL to the field
- In Confluence, add a Jira Issues macro pointing to your test project. (Refer to Insert the Jira Issues Macro)
- Choose the custom field you want to appear by selecting the 3-column icon "Configure fields"
Expected Results
The URL in the URL field is clickable.
Actual Results
The URL in the text field is rendered as plain text in the Jira Issues macro:
However, if we use the legacy Jira Issues macro, the URL is correctly rendered as a URL:
Workaround
Use the Jira Legacy macro to Text (multi-line) Custom Fields which contain links, to be displayed as a clickable URL.

Hello,
This bug is affecting our internal Risk & Compliance team - as they need to deal with high priority risks quickly they are using a Confluence table configured with a Jira Issues Macro that sorts all of these for them. Unfortunately links from a text field are not clickable, even when it's configured to have a wiki style renderer, so they need to collect these links manually which defeats part of the benefits of having such a table.
Could this please be looked into?
