    Description

      Summary

When archiving or restoring pages, its last modified date will change to reflect such activity. However, the page history will only display versions where the page was published.

This can cause confusion to understand why the last modified date of a page does not reflect the current last published date.

      Suggestion

As it is an expected behavior to have the last modified date reflecting the archival (or restore), this is a suggestion to either:

      • Add the archival date to the versions of the page in the page history, including a comment that the page was archived with the author of the action.
      • Do not modify the last modified date if the page is archived so it matches the date when the page was last published.
