    Description

      Summary

By default, when a page is inheriting restrictions from a parent page, if it gets archived, it will no longer have any restrictions implemented into it. From the archiving pages article, the following is shared:

Before archiving a page, be sure to check if it has inherited permissions. If it does, then the page is relying on one of its parent pages to control who can view and you might be exposing it to a wider audience by archiving it. To avoid this, set view restrictions on the page you’re archiving.

      Suggestion

As the child page might become exposed to anyone that views the Archived pages within the space, this is a suggestion to automatically apply the parent page's restriction into the child page once it gets archived, avoiding it to be visible and extra efforts to restrict it again.
