Issue Summary

After releasing the version 1.2.6 or 1.3.0 of the Companion app, some users might not be able to use this feature due to a change that was made in the app.

Steps to Reproduce

1. With version 1.2.6 or 1.3.0 installed, go to a Confluence page and try to edit an Attachment.

Expected Results

The file is open with a local application that supports that extension to get your file edited with Companion managing that file to upload it to your page.

Actual Results

It prompts you to install Companion, as it doesn't recognize it as installed.

Notes

• In the Companion logs, it is possible to see this error: Error: self-signed certificate in certificate chain;
• This error happens due to a change we applied to improve the app's security, so as it is using a different structure, it won't work for customers that might be using proxies or some specific network settings.

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
