Description
Issue Summary
For unlicensed Confluence users (e.g. JSM knowledge base users) Space directory may appear empty or have missing results.
Steps to Reproduce
- Have a site with both Confluence and Jira Service management
- Make some spaces to become knowledge bases for Jira Service Management projects. To do so, you can link the Confluence spaces to your service projects
- Grant a user with Confluence access via the site's administration.
- Now, add this user with individual permissions to "View" a space that is not integrated with Jira Service Management nor is open for the public access.
- Revoke the user's access from Confluence via the site's administration, but, keep this user as an active customer account with site access, like the example below:
- Visit the Space directory as the unlicensed/customer (JSM) user
Expected Results
The space directory should list all spaces which are open to unlicensed and anonymous users.
Actual Results
The space directory appears blank.
Workaround
Remove any existing individual space permissions associated with the user as the groups will automatically be revoked from the user when becoming a "customer" account without Confluence access.
