Anonymous users cannot create inline comments

      Issue Summary

      • Anonymous users are not able to save inline comments on the page.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Ensure that anonymous users have Add permission to Comments on the space.
      2. Open an incognito window as an anonymous user, browse to the page and try to add and save an inline comment.

      Expected Results

      • The comment is posted and the content is readable.

      Actual Results

      • The comment is not posted and we see the error message:

        Something went wrong when saving this comment. Close the comment or refresh the page, and try adding your comment again.

      Workaround

      Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
