      Status Update: 11 March 2022

Hi folks, my name is Daniel Ayele and I'm a Product Manager on the Confluence team where I manage our collaboration feature family. Thank you for your feedback and suggestion to improve the task report macro to pull tasks from all spaces. I'm excited to announce that we have plans on our roadmap to make a number of improvements to the tasks experience in Confluence in the next 12 months, including improving task creation, a new tasks home experience, and, most relevant, updates to the task report macro to make it even more powerful. As part of this effort we will take this suggestion into consideration. Stay tuned to our community and other product update channels to learn more when we bring this functionality to market.

      Description

In the past, it was possible to use the Task Report Macro to pull tasks from all Spaces, by leaving the Space(s) and Page(s) field empty. This was very useful in order to have a wider view and better management of tasks on the Instance. However, the field is now required and the only way to pull tasks from all Spaces would be to manually include all of them, which is impractical.

      Suggested Solution

Provide a way for users to pull tasks from all Spaces using the macro.
