Issue Summary
The third-party add-on MultiExcerpt, developed and supported by Artemis Software provides us with some cool additional macros to use on Confluence.
It seems that when we are setting up some pages to use some of its macros, exporting the space and importing on a new site makes the macros within the pages to lose the relation from the pages they are excerpting content.
Steps to Reproduce
- You will need two Confluence Cloud sites;
- Make sure to install the MultiExcerpt add-on on both sites;
- On site A, create three pages:
- on page #1, add the MultiExcerpt macro with content to be excerpted;
- on page #2, add the MultiExcerpt macro that will call the content from page #1, and also add a MultiExcerpt macro with content to be excerpted on other page;
- on page #3, use the MultiExcerpt macros to call both contents from Page #1 and #2;
- Export the space to XML;
- After downloading the exported file, go to site B;
- Navigate to Settings > Import Space and import the exported space from site A;
- Access page #2.
Expected Results
The content within the macros are being shown as expected.
Actual Results
The macros eventually won't show the content with an error message saying that the pages where the content is being referenced couldn't be shown.
Notes:
- Navigating through the pages in the space and then going back to page #2 will make the content appear again.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
