Well, this issue is still a problem in the old editor.. but in the new editor the bug does not present itself.

@Sami this is still happening for us in some instances (also customers). The error message is the one from the original issue "ReferenceError: _AP is not defined" and "JWT is expired and no content resolver was specified" when trying to insert a macro.

This happens for some of our test instances (yasoon-tobi.atlassian.net), and at least one of our customers is affected. It seems to be a race condition, since it does not happen all the time, some observations:

            • It only happens after creating a new page (before saving) in the new editor
            • After a page reload (even only on the draft) it does not happen anymore
            • After saving the page it does not happen
            • If does seem to happen more often if you disable cache with dev tools open (probably race condition / timing issue). Though our customer certainly does not have dev tools open, so this can occur under "normal" circumstances

            Thanks

amotsjonov That's not the same error. The error message there is `_AP is not defined`. Please raise a separate ticket for this one

Hi, I am just started using confluence to develop add-ons and when I create new page I am getting same error (note that i have 'disable cache' in network tab) so it still seems to be some race condition causing the issue.

This is still very much a bug for me and my users.

Table Filter Macro fails to load tables built with the Jira Macro, even when only a few issues are returned.

It has never appeared to be fixed on my instance, for the simple use case I am leveraging the plugin for.

Hi akhaneev, yes this could be related to browser caches – I would suggest hard-reloading the page and seeing if the issue is still present. If it is, further reproduction steps on how your customers are running into this would be greatly appreciated.

Our customers still report this error: confluence/api/navigator-context missing confluence/api/querystring
Can it be related to browser caches? And is this fix rolled out to all Confluence instances?

            Hello everyone!

Regarding the specific error of `Uncaught Error: confluence/api/navigator-context missing confluence/api/querystring`, we have found that some race conditions were still occurring, and have a more reliable fix merged which should be released tomorrow morning PDT. I'm hoping that this should also resolve the issue for `no context function defined`. I suspect that there are many issues all conflated into one and we need to untangle them all  I will update again to confirm when the more reliable fix has been released.

I have some more logging information.  One of our product managers can reproduce the issue consistently when he is at home, but not when he is in the office:

Hi Samy.  The issue is intermittent and not easy to reproduce.  We'll try to get a log.  What I observed was that call to AP.navigator.getLocation() was not calling the callback which caused initialization to stop in our app.

Additionally, we recommend a hard-refresh for any reports of the problem persisting.

            Chrome on Mac: ⌘ + Shift + R
Chrome on Windows/Linux: Control + click Refresh button

Firefox on Mac/Windows/Linux: Shift + click Refresh button

Internet Explorer: Control + click Refresh button

If those things don't work, clearing the browser cache manually and reloading the page should also do the trick.

            Any update on this issue?

For my instance, the severity is greater than "Minor".

A ballpark for a time frame to expect a fix would be really appreciated.

            Hello,

Like many here, this issue is severely impacting my day-to-day. I'm unable to communicate progress or have key members review work nor provide feedback. I've been forced to use alternative tools. We've been experiencing this issue consistently for 3 weeks or so.

Thank you so much for your patience with this. Our team is looking into this. We will provide an ETA for the fix once we've finished our investigations.

We cannot apologize enough for this.

            Hello,

This issue affects the Table Filter and Charts app which is installed on about 2000 Confluence instances.

Could you tell me please if there is any updates on this issue or estimated time to its resolution?

I am an Atlassian Confluence and Jira Cloud customer at a small, lean startup that depends on the Balsamiq plugin to communicate wireframe mockups tied to our product requirements documentation.  For at least the past 2-3 weeks, we have not been able to access our Balsamic plugin projects via Confluence.  This is severely limiting our ability to communicate product intent to our developers on a fast moving, revenue critical project.  We would greatly appreciate this issue being resolved so that we can access our created Balsamiq feature documentation.

Please let me know if I can provide more information to assist with resolving this.

Not sure if it's related but when a page doesn't load mockups you cannot reply to comments made on the confluence pages which is a pain because comments are used in our team to communicate changes and request feedback.

Here is the way it behaves for me. https://nimb.ws/aHiWS3

            • Comments can be seen and resolved.
            • When you click on the 'Reply' box the text input used to enlarge but now it doesn't.

This issue also affects Courses and Quizzes LMS app.

Course and quizzes pages don't load, which makes it impossible to use the app. It's a critical issue for us.

Here is a screenshot of the console showing my error.
My page contains a Jira issue/filter macro that configured as a table.  The table is wrapped in a Table Filter Macro from 'Table Filter & Charts for Confluence' plugin.

Even with very few issues returned, there is tendency for the page to load slowly, and often not to load at all.

Here is more info which explains how the issue is affecting my team.... i.e. it's completely blocking me from our designs we have been working on in Confluence. I have tried everything until I realized this is a known bug.

            1. There is no preview in the Published page, which means nobody can see the design.
            2. When trying to edit the page in confluence, you might be able to see a preview depending on which pieces of the wireframes you chose to use as the preview in the past.
            3. You cannot change anything (i.e. change the preview to allow to see more as a work around).
            4. Cannot access the Balsamiq Project to see the whole thing, nor edit it.

            Hi team,
This could probably help in order to isolate the issue. Apparently Jira macro prevents Balsamiq Wireframes content appearing in Confluence page.
