Group name automatically changing from uppercase to lowercase in page restrictions

      Issue Summary

      The group name is automatically changing to lowercase from uppercase in the page restrictions.

      Environment

      Confluence Cloud Environment

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Step 1.Create a group in the uppercase(Ex: HR)
      2. Step 2.Go to page restrictions and (search the group name < click on add < Apply ) restrict the group on page restrictions.
      3. Step 3.Check the list of restricted users/groups, it changes from "HR" to "hr" (please see the screenshot)

      Expected Results

      The group name should be in the uppercase.

      Actual Results

      It changes from uppercase to lowercase.

      Workaround

      Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available

            Hi everyone,

            Thank you for previously raising this bug and bringing it to our attention.

            Within our company roadmap and work capacity, we try to address or review each bug request but admit that not each one will be resolved. To continue the culture of being honest and open, we are closing this bug to focus on our upcoming roadmap for all Confluence users.

            As we continue to roll out features we do look at requests made by our users and if you feel like this bug is still impacting your team please let us know.

            Hi,

            This issue is reoccurring after every few months and is causing "content by label" macro to be invisible for customers, which basically means that our customers cannot view the content of our KB.
