Rest api for get content watchers' results does not update when user clicks on "Watch all pages in space"

      Issue Summary

      When using /rest/api/content/

      {id}

      /notification/child-created to get the watchers of a page, the results or watchers don't update when a second user clicks on "Watch all pages in space" which automatically ticks the "Watch Page" checkbox. However, when only the "Watch Page" is ticked off, the results are updated

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. User 1 creates a page
      2. User 2 goes to the previously created page and clicks on "Watch all content in this space" which automatically ticks the "Watch Page"
      3. Call REST API https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/confluence/rest/#api-content-id-notification-child-created-get
      4. Notice that the results are not updated
      5. Try unticking the watchers and just click on "Watch Page", notice that the results are updated

      Expected Results

      Watchers are updated

      Actual Results

      Watchers remain the same

      • Replication video is added as an internal comment for privacy of accountIds

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
