By default, the user can integrate Jira and Confluence from the Application Links of the instances so gadgets and macros like the Jira issues one can be used to share the information from Jira requests into Confluence.

Even though both instances are communicating, there is no way to edit the issue directly from Confluence so it would be reflected into Jira's information. This is a suggestion to allow the user to edit the information fro the Jira issue directly from Confluence so it would be reflected in Jira.
