Can we at least have an option to kill a long running task in this case? I have an export that got stuck at 10%, and I can't start any new exports

Can't we at least get an option to export a space without attachments? Or not have this hold up processing other exports (fail properly)?

Given the low frequency of occurrence, capacity constraints and significant architectural overhaul required to address this issue, the team has decided to not invest in supporting HTML exports at this scale. We will potentially re-consider this a few quarters down the line. Sorry for the inconvenience.

@rodrigo - Are you on premium? We don't have any issue with this. Perhaps check the attachment settings to ensure you have permitted the allotted amount.

We are having the same issue with our 2 year project documentation.

If nobody answers this issue soon, I am going to ask my supervisors to use a different tool from now: this can be a week of work for my team and thousands of Euros of losses.

It is unthinkable for me having a corporatie tool with this huge bug for months.

Is there a work around for this?  I'm stuck with this issue–I am unable to export at all, now that this issue has occurred.

Hello! I am also a customer affected by this bug and this export feature is really important for us to analyze our support systems. I feel over time, spaces and datasets will only continue to get bigger, so this should definitely have a fix at some point. Especially after 2 years?

Hi, I got ask to explain the impact that this bug has on our business.
We are using confluence to document all our work on our product.

For our B2B business we need to handover this documentation to our clients - therefore we need a way to export >100 pages into a human-readable format in order to full fill the contracts.

Just tried to export to html again.  Still not working - "There was an error in the export. Please check your log files." after 4 hours.

Having an XML site backup is nice to have working again (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-65307) but a better backup is one that can be read without proprietary (i.e. Atlassian) software.

Can you please escalate this?  Backups are important.

HTML exports are an important risk mitigation for my company.  If catastrophe occurs it is important to have a human-readable backup copy of your spaces so that work can continue.

May I suggest you do what google does with its takeaway backups and split the exports into smaller chunks.  It is quite easy for users to unzip and recombine all the parts if needed.

            Regards.
