Dynamic macros display as "Broken macro" in the iOS Confluence app

The user experience of macros inside the iOS app implies as a vendor we have a bug rather than conveying there isn't support for macros inside the iOS app. This issue was originally raised by an evaluator to our support.

Steps

1. Install a connect add-on with a dynamic macro
2. Create a page with a dynamic macro in it via a desktop browser
3. Open the iOS Confluence app (v2.6.1) and view the page

Apps affected

• Poll for Confluence Cloud
• Macro Toolbox for Cloud

Notes

• This error also appears for some inbuilt Confluence macros e.g. lorem ipsum, page tree.
• If you use the "Include Page" macro to include a page that contains a dynamic macro you see a different message (see attached screenshot)
• No web request is made to the server when the page is loaded in the iOS app
