PDF Space Export Is Complete but Download Link Does Not Appear when using Internet Explorer

      Download Link is not available when using Internet Explorer after exporting space to PDF is completed.

      Google Chrome:

      To reproduce:

      1. Login to the Confluence Cloud instance with Administrator using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browser.
      2. Navigate to the space directory. <instance>/wiki/spacedirectory/view.action
      3. Select any space.
      4. Click on the Space tools and select Content tools.
      5. Clik on the Export tab and then select PDF
      6. Click on Next
      7. Choose normal export and then click on Export.
      8. Repeat steps 1-7 using Internet Explorer

      You can refer to this documentation if the download link is not available in any browser.

      Workaround:

      Use an alternative browser, like Chrome or Firefox.

            Hi baaderst,

            The fix for this issue is in 5.10.6. Please upgrade to that version to have the fix

            We are running on CONF 5.10.4 and we have exactly the same issue. No exported space pdf for download with IE11.

            We're on Confluence 5.7 (self-hosted) and our few IE users have just noticed this. Individual page exports work fine, it's only space exports that this occurs with, as far as I have seen. I have reproduced it with IE11, I can't fully answer what version of IE my users are using.

            It's not a high priority issue (as 95% of our Confluence users use Chrome or Firefox, and 99% of the time people aren't exporting entire spaces), but the people that do use IE, by the very nature of them using IE, aren't likely to change to Chrome or Firefox. So this does need to be fixed in the near future; simply saying "Do not use IE" isn't going to work for long.
