Summary

Confluence is unavailable since last night upgrade.

Navigating to /wiki displays a timeout error page or a maintenance custom error leading to this bug.

Steps to Reproduce

1. go to site-url/wiki

Expected Results

Confluence Dashboard is shown

Actual Results

Error page appears and keeps appearing after more than 15 minutes

Notes:

JIRA works as expected

Updates:

All sites have been fixed.

Root cause:

A change to the way Confluence accesses Application Links in the database caused it to exhaust its database connections in some circumstances.

Workaround / Solution

Please contact Cloud Support if you haven't already, at support.atlassian.com mentioning this issue to manually run an upgrade with the fix.
