As a Confluence administrator, I would like for the Confluence profile picture size limit to be higher

      Problem Definition

      As a Confluence administrator, I would like for the Confluence profile picture size limit to be higher as most smartphones in present day will take pictures that are greater than 2000x2000px. This limitation seems to affect mobile users consistently.

      Suggested Solution

      1. Allow configuration of profile image size limit by administrators
      2. Increase the current size limit

      Workaround

      Decrease the image size to less than 2000x2000px before re-uploading as a profile image.

            Reproduced in 5.9.1 and .2 ....

            Our customers are wanting to upload profile pics from smartphones (IOS 9.x) . Most phones take high res pic. So, either allow and trim down pixel/quality or make it configurable.
